Book Review: INFAMOUS by Jenny Holiday

Infamous (Famous, #2)Infamous by Jenny Holiday
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This opposites attract, friends to lovers, m/m romance between an up-and-coming rock star and a doctor is a generally funny, sentimental, and easy read that I compulsively consumed in half a day. Jesse, the rock star, and Hunter, the doctor, meet on a train ride, two strangers who enjoy each other’s company, but whose paths in life take them in different directions. Jesse’s dream is to be on the cover of Rolling Stone, which according to his new PR team means he can’t go around kissing guys. Meanwhile, Hunter is getting over a guy who wanted to keep their relationship a secret, and he doesn’t want to go through that again. Jesse and Hunter were so nice and likable characters, and I liked how their relationship progressed. Even with the ups and downs, it all paid off in the end. I also thought Jesse’s band mates were a lot of fun. All in all, a satisfying story.
